High demand occupations for the province of Alberta are presented according to education level:

   

  

Level A

     

  • University degree.

Level B

    

  • Two to three years of post-secondary education;

  • Two to four years of apprenticeship training;

  • Three to four years of secondary school and more then two years of on the job training, training courses or experience;

  • Occupations with health and safety responsibilities e.g. fire fighters, nursing assistance and police officers.

Level C

     

  • One to four years of secondary school education

  • Up to two years of on-the-job training
